About the GRASSIMESSE
The GRASSIMESSE is an international gathering place for design enthusiasts and lovers of beautiful things. It is both an art exhibition and a sales fair. Visitors can discover contemporary artists, artisans, and designers, and purchase their art objects and products.
Exhibitors offer one-of-a-kind items, small-batch productions, and exemplary industrial products from sectors including textiles, fashion, jewelry, ceramics, glass, furniture, metal, leather, paper, and toys. Each year, a panel of experts selects the exhibitors based on high quality standards.
The GRASSIMESSE thus reflects the range of ideas and diversity found in contemporary applied art and design. It promotes artistic developments and raises awareness of design quality.
The fair follows in the tradition of the historic Grassi Fairs, which were founded in 1920 and became famous as a “meeting place of modernity.” Since its relaunch in 1997, it has been held once a year on the last weekend of October at the GRASSI Museum of Applied Arts (link opens in a new tab).
